In December 2012 Pastor Kevin Wood joined FBU as Senior Pastor! Kevin and his lovely wife Cindy have relocated from the Bay Area and are so happy to live in Ukiah. Kevin is a native Californian, born in Eureka, and has primarily lived in California his entire life. He has a Master's degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary and has been a pastor for 18 years. Kevin was raised in a non-church going home and came to faith through Young Life. Kevin loves his wife and kids; loves the Giants and 49ers; and loves the ocean and playing golf. More importantly, he loves to reveal the depth of God's mercy and grace to people who desperately need Jesus. He has a passion to lead people into God's presence and see them become the people God created them to be.
Grow Pastor David Allen

I was born in Pomona, Ca in the great year of 1989, to a broken home. I never knew my parents together as a married couple. God planted me with my mom in Glendora Ca, where I spent most of my childhood and adulthood.
In middle school I met my dear friend A.J Horton who went to my, sort of fair weather, church youth group. God used mine and A.J’s angst for life, and rebellious nature, to begin the process of drawing me to himself. God also divinely placed a man named Gary Walker in my life that took me under his wing and began to teach me the ways of the Lord.
In my high school years I had very little desire for the things of God. I went to church because A.J went. During my senior year of high school the Lord allowed me to battle with depression, which is what ultimately lead me to my knees before him. After yielding my heart and life to God, I began working with the youth group that I formerly attended, as a middle school leader. In April of 2012 God called me to this beautiful town of Ukiah Ca, where I am currently the Youth/Discipleship Pastor. Through all of this, God has blessed me with my gorgeous wife Jocelyn, and our beautiful daughter Addisyn Rose.

Zach is the son of Pastor Joel Dison and his wife Patty who taught him to seek after the Lord from a young age. Zach enjoys rock climbing, running, Ultimate Frisbee, and music (obviously). More importantly, he loves the Lord and seeks to lead others in worshiping Him. His passion is creating environments and moments where God's people can express their love for Him freely.
Children's Director Janene Talso
Janene became the Children's Director at FBU in October 2014. She has the passion and excitement to lead our committed team to loving and teaching our kids about Jesus. Janene is also a paraprofessional at Calpella School, an awesome mom to Christopher and Lucy, and amazing wife to Justin. As if this doesn't keep her busy enough, she is also an amazing crafter!
Tech Master Ray Gifford
Self proclaimed "master of all things media" which means the buck stops with Ray with all audio visual stuff at church. Ray grew up at FBU - went away and received a Masters degree in theater arts and has a great perspective on the look and feel of our Sunday Services.
Ministry Assistant Cindy Wood
Cindy is married to Head Pastor Kevin Wood and offers her time to help run the office here at FBU. Without her we would probably all fall apart. Cindy loves using her gifts of administration and service as well as her passion for organization to fulfill the responsibilities of Ministry Assistant for FBU. She also enjoys cooking, baking, camping, gardening, the Oakland A's, the 49ers and the joy of 11 grandchildren! She has the privilege of daily interaction with Kaiden, their oldest grandson, through legal guardianship. Cindy believes that God's plan is ALWAYS for the best, and when things seem chaotic and out of control, God's just lining things up!
