We exist to glorify God by leading people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, rooted in the gospel.

We hope that First Baptist is a place where you will feel comfortable and welcomed by God’s people, even if you have never been to church before. Our messages and music worship are founded in biblical truth and we aim to communicate the truth of the gospel in a way that is understandable so that everyone can experience the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as they grow in a relationship with him.

What We believe

  • One God, Three Persons

    The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in unity as one triune God and three separate distinct persons.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God

    He was born of a virgin as both fully God and fully man, He lived a sinless life, died a sinner’s death to atone for the sins of man, was buried, rose from the grave, and ascended into heaven, and will return again.

  • The Holy Spirit

    The divine helper, assistant, counselor, and instructor. His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead us to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify. He is fully God and equally as glorious as the Father and Son.

  • The Bible

    The Bible is the word of God and is without error. Scripture is the sole and final authority for the life of a believer.

  • Man

    Humans are the special creations of God who are made in his image, and designed to glorify him in all we do. We fell because of Adam and Eve’s original sin, and we continue to sin and are in need of salvation.

  • Salvation

    Salvation is deliverance from the current power of sin and the eternal spiritual death caused by sin, which is only possible through faith in Jesus and his redemptive work on the cross, that is demonstrated through repentance from sin.
